God, Family, and Music
Malcom Jamal, was raised in Selma, Al with humble beginnings centered around God and Family. Music has always been his passion even as a child. As a young man Malcom Jamal made great music but conformed to the status quo of the same topics as all hip hop artist ( money, cars, clothes, women, etc) . After gaining his Marketing Degree from Alabama A&M university he eventually moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue a career in music. The over saturated music scene caused him to pivot and start his own alkaline water brand called Alkaline Lyfe. He put music on the back burner dedicated his time into being a full time entrepreneur. As time went he couldn’t deny his love and passion for music but this time he vowed to make music that honored God, with content that his son or any child could listen to.
